OXO Good Grips Flip and Fold Omelet Turner

YOU NEED THIS THING
This is so much more than a spatula. It has a semi-clear soft edge that lets you flip things, but it is heat resistant. That way, if you're using it with a wok or a fry pan you can get get into the curve of the pan to stir and flip, but it is also firm enough to pick up pieces with. It works like a spatula, but also like a stirring rod, and also like a turner for omlets, pancakes and stuff - I was able to fry tofu and flip this without breaking it, but it was solid enough to break apart onions for stir frting. The rounded edge is strong enough to scrape stuff off the inside of a pan before it burns but it is soft enough to let you get under things in the bottom of the pan. The handle is insulated. I left it on the rim of the pan with the head inside with the heat going, and the handle was only mildly warm to the touch. This is a very useful tool. I love this thing.

Skeptical, yet pleasantly surprised
When I saw this online, the photo wasn't very clear and I thought the spatula was just the yellow part. I use a smallish omelet pan and was actually looking for a small, delicate spatula. When I got it, I found this very large clear area and I was skeptical it could slip into and under the eggs. I was really surprised. The edge is very flexible and it slips under the thinnest edges in my small pan. It easily releases the bottom of the omelet, and then the stiffer, yellow part keeps it sturdy enough to fold or roll the egg without losing control. Other uses must be limited to things of texture, as the soft edge is too flexible for things like scraping down the sides of batter in a bowl. However, anything where you need some support after slipping under material should work well.

An actually useful tool
I wasn't sure I really needed yet ONE more kitchen gadget, but since I make crepes about once a month (and have had trouble using my standard spatula to cook/flip them), I thought I'd give this a try. The flexible edge really does help in turning something as thin and delicate as a crepe, and after using it, I discovered that it is actually pretty useful. I also have a small pan that cooks pancakes in a Mickey Mouse shape, and standard spatulas tend to tear up the image on the pancake. This tool was thin enough and flexible enough to turn the pancakes without messing up the image. My kids were VERY pleased, and this was an unexpected benefit of getting this turner.

Soleness Bamboo Kitchen Utensils - Cool Looking Cooking Tools Set - Environmentally Friendly Accessories - Try This Equipment - Buy From Soleness Risk Free 30 Day Guarantee

Fantastic Bamboo Kitchen utensils
I Loved these when they showed up, they are Heavily made, not like the thin garbage ones you get from the stores,

they came in a clear wrap packaging, with a nice label on the front of it, and when i opened them they had a cool looking logo on the bottom of each one.

They are so easy to wash in warm soapy water! and i was ready to go!

I've already used them for multiple meals with the family including July 4th, which was a blast btw!

Seriously we have everything when we do BBQ from Potato Salad, Hamburgers, Hotdogs, Watermellon, should i keep going or is your mouth already watering!! hehehehe

Soleness is definately on my list to buy from again for anything in the future! I love good sellers!

Oh the smell! But quickly realized this was a 5 Star product
When I first ripped open the Amazon box (like a kid on Christmas morning...) I was floored by the horrible burnt wood smell that hit me. I thought: "Wow these new kitchen tools really stink, I wonder if it was from sitting in my Phoenix, AZ mailbox at 115F most of the day, the manufacturing process, or maybe the method used to burn the vendor's logo in each tool?"

After a quick soapy water hand washing (which you should do anyway) the smell was completely GONE!

I've since cooked about 10 meals and really like this new set, they replaced an older - much thinner set that was prone to bending and warping when heated.

I'll gladly add this product to my gift list for friends and family.

Great Bambo Utensils
Got to say I really like the feel and look of these Bamboo Kitchen Utensils. Does the job and washes nicely as well. I will keep using these as long as I continue to cook in the kitchen. Would recommend this to my friends or anyone who also likes and enjoys cooking

Silicone Kitchen Utensils Set- (Red) Includes 1 Each; Spoon Spatula, Scraper, Spatula (10 X 2 Inch), and Small Spatula (8 X 1 Inch) - Soft and Flexible with Durable Plastic Handles - Non-scratch, Heat Resistant Gadgets - Essential Cookware & Bakeware Tool

Excellent Red Kitchen Utensils
I ordered the Silicone Kitchen Utensils Set in Red to use with my OrGreenics non-stick cookware. It's a breeze to use these utensils because they are safe for the environment, and safe in my kitchen as well. I especially love the versatility of sizes as the smallest can be used to ice cakes or desserts, and the triangular one is good at getting batter out of the bowl. The other spatulas are equally good for me since my pans are not particularly large. They accomplish the task well without seeping odors into the product (like non-treated wooden spatulas) and it's great for scrambling eggs. You can also hang these up if you'd like since they have holes at the top of the handle. Great gift idea too for bakers or chefs in the family!

Pros:
-FDA Food Grade Silicone
-Heat Resistant
-Non-Scratch
-Flexible and Easy to Clean
-Durable & Stylish Red Color
-Great for Baking or Cooking
-Lifetime, No-hassle, Free Replacement Guarantee...

great quality cooking toolss
I do alot of baking and cooking. I use spatulas for EVERYTHING and go thru quite a few. Sometimes the handles arent strong enough and break, sometimes the spatulas don't scrape well, or they aren't sturdy enough to use for mixing. These are strong, scrape cleanly, mix very well, and feel good in my hand. I am very happy I found these, they are quality and will last a long time. I recommend this product.

UPDATE: I use my utensils every single day. I have to say I love the triangle one for my smoothies. It is perfect for scraping the blender while it is running. I have chopped up so many spatulas by hitting the blade accidentally and this one NEVER touches the moving blade. It makes a big difference in the ease of it all. I really enjoy this product.

Good buy
I have only used these a few times but have been happy with them. The variety in sizes and shapes is useful and they have a good firmness/flexibility combo. Not a five star rating because one of the tops came off right out of the packaging but went back on and seems usable.
