Function and form.
I've had complements on how these look, as well as their use. Fantastic set, amazingly sharp, durable (as far as ceramics can be, "durable"), hold an edge for a great while. I've had zero problems with these from the start of the order, all the way through their most recent use. Great knives.
Amazing Knives
These are amazing and very sharp. They cut vegetables like a razor blade. However you must be careful washing them and can only be sharpened by returning to Kyocera or purchasing their dedicated sharpener which unfortunately is battery powered.
Sharp and working good
These knifes where sharp and are still working good. I routinely use 2-3 of them each day when preparing meals for me and my wife. They are sharp, cut things easily and I've had no issue with them. They are easy to hand wash and dry. The block holds them well and looks good on the counter. The block is solid and doesn't move. Removing knifes quickly I've never had a problem with the block moving.
