Strange to review this. When you need it, you need it. I wasn't going to turn one on my kitchen lathe.
I really liked that it can withstand boiling (or I guess 195 degree) water.
I don't like that my housekeeper keeps breaking them. (#firstworldproblems)

Perfect fit. Great Bodum quality and workmanship. Perfect replacement for you 12-cup Bodum French press coffee maker. Blah blah blah - three more words.
Keep 1-2 on hand for those grand-kids helping hands.
Need spares for the times when your kids/grand-kids helping with the dishes and it gets "Accidently" broken. Saves from having to use the old coffeemaker which is now kept in the basement or as a loaner.
