Zyliss Easy Grip Zester, Assorted Colors, 72-pack

Does exactly what it is supposed to do.
Sturdy, well-made product, the Zyliss zester peels lemons perfectly every time. The ergonomic handle is a joy to hold and the yellow color makes it easy to spot in the drawer. This is my second Zyliss zester. The first one lost a battle with the garbage disposal.

Great Zester
We're very happy with this zester. My husband likes it for making long curly zest for his martinis and the bright lemon color makes it easy for him to spot in my messy utensil drawer. I like it because it the nice and sharp cutting edge is on the end so I can use it left handed. This is it if you're looking for a good little tool that does the job well.

Meh!
It works but not very well and it's very laborious. I bought this at the same time and for comparison to "Telebrands Ped Egg for Men". I had seen the latter on TV and had the inspiration that it might be the answer to my lemon zesting dreams. (I'd been using a microplane and hated it.)

That made me think I was being unfair because I'd never bought a proper lemon zester. Since it was only a few bucks, I had Amazon toss one of these into the box. It was a great experiment and the Ped Egg won. If you are planning on making a lemon cream pie or anything else, quickly click over to the Ped Egg. It is very fast, you won't bark your knuckles, it captures the zest nicely and doesn't appear to have any problem with the dishwasher (though we don't use the heater to dry stuff, that might be a problem).
